Meet our new Choir Director,

 Robin Van Schaick

Robin is a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.   

Though she holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in music education & piano, she has held varying jobs throughout her working life. 

Teaching vocal music in a public school was her first position. 

A career change took her into the field of information technology where she has held the jobs of computer programmer, systems analyst and project manager. 

After 20+ years, the desire to ‘do something that made a difference’, took her into the non-profit world where she worked for a social services agency providing facilities management and computer support.  Currently she is working as a government contractor on a project management team.

No matter what Robin has been doing on a full time basis, music has always been an important part of her life.  She has directed musical theatre productions, provided piano accompaniment for dance and voice studios, taught piano lessons, directed a community chorus and served as accompanist/choir director for a local church.

Robin and her husband, Gary, live in Lake Hopatcong with their eight cats and one dog.
