Nicholas Steltzer --
Nicholas
Steltzer holds degrees in Sacred Music and Organ Performance from Duquesne
University and the Cleveland Institute of Music, and has recently earned his
second Masters Degree in Conducting at Temple University. Mr. Steltzer has been
a finalist in many organ competitions throughout the country winning second
prize at the William Hall Competition in San Antonio and First Prize at the
Pittsburgh American Guild of Organists Young Artists Competition. In addition,
he has performed with the Cleveland Institute of Music under the baton of Lewis
Lane in Severance Hall, the home of the Cleveland Orchestra, and has performed
throughout the United States and abroad. He spends his summers overseeing a
active music program at Big Moose Community Chapel in the Adirondack Mountains
of New York. He has also served on the faculty of Hope Academy for the
Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, teaching piano and organ.
