Call to Worship
Leader: O Lord, before Your trials of suffering, You prayed that all Your
disciples may be one in Spirit. People: Grant that we may be bound together in love for one another …
Leader: and in faithful obedience to You …
All: that the world may see and believe!

WE CONFESS OUR SINS
Invitation to Silent Confession
A Prayer of Confession (by Oswald Chambers) We confess that we run ahead of God in a thousand and one activities. We
confess that we become so burdened with people and problems that we fail to
worship God and fail to intercede. When a burden and its resulting pressure come
upon us while we are not in an attitude of worship, it will only produce
hardness toward God and despair in our own souls. A heartless Christian must be
a terrible grief to the Lord. And so we pray for our lives to be in a proper
place to worship and intercede in accord with the Holy Spirit.

The Assurance and Promise of Reconciliation
